ABOUT

Hi, I’m Dawson Whittaker—a designer driven by curiosity and the challenge of turning ideas into real, functional things. My work lives at the intersection of product design, fabrication, and visual design, where digital concepts evolve into physical objects through experimentation, prototyping, and hands-on making.

I’m hypnotized by the process of building—sketching ideas, modeling them in 3D, testing materials, and refining designs until they work both visually and physically. Using tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, 3D modeling software, and fabrication tools, I explore how thoughtful design and practical problem-solving can come together to create meaningful outcomes.

Through my experience in product development and collaborative design environments, I’ve developed a mindset focused on iteration, adaptability, and creative problem solving. I’m most inspired by projects that push ideas beyond the screen and into the real world—where design becomes something you can interact with, build, and improve.

For me, design isn’t just about how something looks—it’s about how it works, how it’s made, and the experience it creates.
